In August of 2004 Heather Murphy and Chris Praet married on the beach , in North Topsail Beach 7 stories below The Atlantis Restaurant. The bridal party got ready in our spacious honeymoon suite before the ceremony.

We then hosted the happy couple and their 100 guests for a fun wedding reception. They decorated in coastal theme. The Atlantis provided the sea shell wedding cake that was a beautiful focal point.

We began passing hors-d’ouvres of Cocktail Franks in Pastry and Chicken Satay. The guests then moved through a bountiful buffet of Seafood Newberg, Chicken Florentine, Roast Sirloin, Rice Pilaf, Corn O’Brian, Mixed Veggies, Au Gratin Potatoes, Garden Salad, and Dinner Rolls.

At the bride and groom’s request, we set up a Kool Aid and Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich station for the many children in attendance.

We set up a wine bar downstairs while the cash bar operated upstairs.

The guests danced to a DJ until midnight. Mr. And Mrs. Praet retired to the honeymoon suite to enjoy the relaxing jacuzzi after an evening of dancing.
